Booking conditions

These conditions govern the holiday rental of Le Mas de l’Olivière, 4387 route de Jouques, 83560 Rians, France, a holiday rental officially classified four stars and registered under number 8310400005496.

The property is let for a maximum of twelve people, in six bedrooms each with a 160 cm double bed. Exceeding this number may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

The rental covers all the spaces described on this website: the six bedrooms, the living rooms, the kitchen, the games room, the courtyard, the terraces, the pool and the grounds. These spaces are reserved for the occupants for the whole of the stay.

The owners occupy a self-contained flat on the garden level, with a separate entrance and no view onto the spaces let.

From 26 June to 28 August 2027, arrival and departure are on Saturdays, for a minimum stay of seven nights.

For the rest of the season — 29 May to 25 June 2027, 29 August to 9 October 2027, and 15 April to 27 May 2028 — arrival is on a Wednesday, a Saturday or a Sunday. The minimum stay is four nights, increased to six nights for a Sunday arrival.

The house is not let between 10 October 2027 and 14 April 2028.

Arrival from 5 pm, departure before 10 am.

Prices include the booking fee, end-of-stay cleaning, bed linen and bath and pool towels. The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the commune of Rians, is added to the price of the stay: €1.96 per adult, per night.

A 30 % deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is due no later than 30 days before arrival. For any booking made less than 30 days before arrival, the full amount is payable immediately.

A security deposit of €1,000 is pre-authorised on a credit card before arrival. No amount is charged unless damage is found. The pre-authorisation is released after departure and inspection of the property.

Cancellation more than 30 days before the arrival date: full refund of sums paid. Between 30 and 14 days: 50 % refunded. Less than 14 days before arrival: no refund.

We recommend taking out cancellation insurance.

No pets. No smoking indoors. Parties, stag and hen celebrations and events with outside guests are not permitted. The pool is unsupervised: supervision of children is the responsibility of the occupants.

The house is an old building: stone staircases, changes of level, open terraces and a pool at ground level. It was not designed for very young children, and we are not able to adapt it.

If your stay includes a child under six, we ask you to contact us before booking, so that we can describe the layout of the house to you in detail. The decision to come is yours; we simply want you to make it knowing what the house is like.
